Mighty Mission Mélange of Magnificence (A Variety Show)

What: Inspired by the classic variety shows of the 20th century, perhaps mainly by The Muppet Show, this free event is a celebration of Mission, the Clarke Theatre and the incredible array of talent that can be found in the community. A new 8 minute play from Opening Nite Theatre, an accordion master, magic, hiphop dance, local authors reading their work courtesy the Library, dancers and drummers from Rooh Punjab Dee, Ms. Shauna, fun contests from the Archives and Museum with prizes of free tickets to other Clarke Theatre shows, and more will all converge in a little controlled chaos for this free, fun, family event. (Author Emily Isaacson will read a few poems).
