The Country of the Bird reads almost like a spiritual coming of age story told through poems. The speaker’s awareness changes over time, and you feel that shift through the way she notices the world around her. I really admired the patience of the writing. These poems never rush toward conclusions. They linger, observe, and allow meaning to build gradually. Definitely not a collection for people who want flashy poetry, but perfect for readers who enjoy subtle emotional depth.

Ageless Confessions
Paperback E-book 373 pages
"There’s definite promise in Street’s prose, as she has a knack for poetic description: 'When kindness would rule as a queen, the night would be star-thick, spelling joy from one generation to the next.' ... respectably ambitious."

Reviews for Storm Watcher

“There’s a constant motion between the personal and the mythical. Her words rise like tides, returning again and again to resilience, devotion, and the endurance of beauty in chaos.”

"It’s an ambitious work that bridges tradition and modern sensibility."
